NFMC Angie Greer Music in Poetry Award Contest

​This is a wonderful opportunity for young poets!

NFMC offers a $100 cash prize to 5 winners for any form of poetry: traditional rhyming form, free verse, story, etc. Entrants may be up to 18 years of age. Previous winners are not eligible to participate again.

The poem must:

  • be an original, unpublished creation of the entrant
  • have a musical theme and musically themed title
  • have a length between 8-30 lines
  • be submitted as a PDF file with a white background and black text; file should be labeled "First Name's Poem Title.pdf"
  • not include personally identifiable information, such as name, address, contact information, teacher information, club details, etc.
